1.1. The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS2013-2016), Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions.
1.2. International F18 Class Rules will apply.
1.3. Rules for Nordic Championships will apply.
1.4. No national prescriptions will apply.
1.5. If there is conflict between languages the English text shall prevail.
2.1. Boats may be required to display advertising chosen and supplied by the organizingauthority.
3. ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY
3.1. The regatta is open to all boats of the F18 Catamaran class.
3.2. All participants must be members of a sailing club under an ISAF-MNA.
3.3. All participants must be up to date members of their national F18 Class Association.
3.4. The regatta is an open event.
3.5. Entries shall be made by completing the online entry form, no later than 1.07.2016
3.6. Late entries will be accepted until August 4th 2016, thus with and additional fee.
3.7. A boat is not registered before the entery fee is paid.

4.1. Entry Fee per boat before 2.07.2016: EUR 165.

5.1. Thursday August 4th 12-20 pm Friday August 5th from 9.00-11.00 am at the Race Office.
5.2. Measurement and equipment check can be made throughout the regatta at the discretion of the Class representative, Race Committee and the Protest Committee.
5.3. Welcome and Skippers meeting:
Friday August 5th at 11.30 am at the Race Office.

5.5. The warning signals for the following races of the day will be made as soon as practiable.
5.6. On the last day of the regatta no warning signal will be after 13.00pm.
6. MEASUREMENTS – CHECKS OF DOCUMENTS AND INSPECTION
6.1. Each boat shall produce a valid measurement certificate.
6.2. At registration each boat shall present
– A measurement certificate.
– Proof of third-party liability insurance; see paragraph 17.
– Documentation for membership of a sailing club under an ISAF-MNA.
– Loan Declaration, if the owner is nor onboard, when the boat is racing.
6.3. Random measurement checks may be performed at any time during the regatta, at the discretion of the 3 class organization representative. All measurements of sails or boats must be done prior to arrival.
7. SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
7.1. The final Sailing Instructions will be available at registration.
8.1. Regatta harbour: Kalev Yacht Club, Pirita tee 17, Tallinn, Estonia
8.2. Racing area: Tallinn bay (SI appendix 1)
9.1. The courses will be „Windward/Leeward courses“.
9.2. The planned sailing time for the first boat is 30 minutes.
10. PENALTY SYSTEM
10.1. Rule 44.1 is changed so that the Two-Turns Penalty is replaced by the One-Turn Penalty.
11.1. Three races are required to be completed to constitute a series.
a) When fewer than four races have been completed, a boat’s series score shall be the total of her race scores.
b) When four to eight or races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her worst score.
c) When nine or more races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her two worst score.
12. SUPPORT BOATS
12.1. Support boats shall display their national flag or a while flag with their national letters as described in RRS appendix G.
13.1. Boats shall be kept in their assigned places while they are in the harbour.
14. RADIO COMMUNICATION
14.1. Except in an emergency, a boat shall neither make radio transmissions while racing nor receive radio communications not available to all boats. This restriction also applies to mobile phones.
15.1. For Nordic Championships: The Scandinavian Sailing Federation’s Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be given to the first three boats.
15.2. The title „Nordic Champion“ goes to the overall winner of the regatta. If the Nordic Championship trophy is awarded to a whole or partly mixed crew, whose citizenship is outside ISAF group G countries, then the crew’s names will be engraved on the trophy, but the trophy cannot leave a group G country. (ISAF group G countries: Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland and Estonia).
15.3. Additional prizes will be given. As minimum to the top tree, one fifth of the boats in the regatta will be given by Estonian Catamaran Assotiation.
15.4. For the Estonian Championship: prizes will be given to the first three boats with Estonian crew.
15.5. Prize giving will take place soonest possible after racing on Sunday.
16. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
16.1. Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See RRS 4, Decision to Race. The organizing authory will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death, sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.
Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third-party liability insurance min 50.000€.
